Getting started
Look up a serial without an account, then log a note when you want a public passport.
Check a serial before you sign up
Note lookup needs the denomination, the series year printed on the note, and the serial. Turn on the star box when the serial ends in a star. The result is a rarity score when a print run is on file, a printing method for regular notes we track, and a guide range when the published guide has one.
The Fancy Serial Number Checker reads the eight digits. A ladder, a radar, or a solid is named there even when you do not know the series.
Log a note
Create an account, then add a note from a photo or by typing the serial. The passport keeps the denomination, series, serial, star, seal, and condition you enter. Display photos are public. Price paid and private notes are not.
Every saved note is public. Skip found city and state if you do not want a place shown next to your username.
Read the background
The guides explain what a star is, how the rarity score is set, how to read a serial, and how fancy patterns differ from seal color.
